Ranjit Shah, Executive Producer

Ranjit Shah is one of the most experienced producers in the industry.

Ranjit has worked in advertising, TV and films with the top companies. He has worked both as buyer and seller:  Production Controller and Producer. Simply put, he knows the trade.

After studying advertising, Ranjit started his career with Lintas and then Lin TV. He moved on to handle productions for India’s top advertising filmmakers (Sumantro Ghoshal, Ram Madhwani, Ravi Khote, Jenny Pinto, Urshilla Kerkar & Pankuj Parashar). He worked with Zee TV as a Production Controller.  

"With Panjak and Zee TV," Ranjit says, "I found the middle-of-the-road approach between extravagant ways of advertising and the shoestring budget productions of TV."

He ventured on his own as an independent producer and created Baap Re Baap (Zee), Suraag (Tvi), Hospital (Sony) and several other shows.

Ranjit was Associate Director in D. Ramanaidu’s Aaghaaz.

He loves writing scripts and is a natural art director.
